Venice, Stockholm, Zurich. And a book. For someone who started with the iPhone almost by chance, Marcus has come a long way. The exhibitions strike me as something huge , not everyone gets to those cities, and not everyone does it in so little time. And the book... being as pro-paper as I am, that says it all to me. There's something about holding a work in your hands that no screen can replace.
Marcus doesn’t stop. He’s just closed his participation in a group exhibition in Venice and is in the middle of preparing a solo exhibition in Stockholm in June and another group exhibition in Zurich in September. As if that weren’t enough, in September he’s also launching a new photobook.
All of this without leaving his job as a consultant. A balance that, seen from the outside, looks like a marvel, and one he maintains with one very clear condition: “It still has to be fun for me to shoot, it is a side hustle for me and I think I need to have it like that to remain the playfulness and the fun.”

Thank you, Marcus, for reminding us that with less, you can go very far.
